The standard that Leergeld Lelystad uses for this is 150% of the assistance standard:

Parents of children, who are being helped with debt restructuring, or are victims of the child care allowance affair, can also call on us.

What, among other things, can you apply for?

  • good 2nd hand bicycle for children from 6 years old
  • refurbished computer for children 11 years and older
  • school trip, camp and field trips
  • specific costs for MBO training: mandatory clothing/tools

The purpose of the application must be clear. What does one want to receive? What are the costs? Is more needed for other children in the family? These questions are all addressed during the home visit.
It helps if you have already collected this information when the intermediary comes on a home visit. Financial support provided by Leergeld is settled directly with the provider of the product.
Approved applications with one family do not entitle you to an award in other cases.

The amount of your income or benefit depends on your age and living situation.

Each year on January 1 and July 1, the assistance standards are reset. To be eligible for support by Leergeld Lelystad, the net income may not exceed 150% of the social assistance standard.
